Tangerine Dream is the name of a German electronic band founded in 1967 that I listened to for years. I wasn’t aware that, before them, it was also the name of the first album of Kaleidoscope (an English psychedelic band of the late 60’s) that was released in the very same year!
So I discovered this album by chance and I’ve really enjoyed their very clear English: as their singer Peter Daltrey wrote:
We were very song-based and my vocal style was very influenced by Donovan who had a precise way of enunciating words.
Their tracks show an unstoppable desire of composing music, testing and blending new ideas… their desire to live being shorter. Though they were mostly forgotten for decades, it’s worth listening to this album.
