Even though I already know that, according to Wikipedia, Carlos and Carla rank as the 3rd most popular names in many Spanish-speaking countries, I still don’t understand why many people outside Italy call me Carlos. I’m Italian and Carlo is my name: please, use it to refer to me.
Carlo (and Karl, Carl, Charles and so on) means “free man” but you are not free to call me Carlos, not at all!

on the latest version of a XAMPP server I’ve tested with E_STRICT the three LA(M)P programs that I mostly use: DokuWiki (2007-06-26b), Joomla! (1.5 RC3) and WordPress (2.3.1). Of course DokuWiki is the simplest of them but I was surprised to discover that it can be installed with error_reporting = E_STRICT without showing any warnings (the others showed long lists of them).

This is a reminder for me and a note for you: if using JavaScript based applications extensively (aka the new GMail) you have experienced hanging problems with Firefox on Gutsy, -installing libmozjs0d (the Mozilla SpiderMonkey JavaScript library) should solve them.-
Update (2008-01-03): Tommaso suggests to disable Html Validator for mail.google.com.
