I remember an old sentence once read on IRC, many years ago:
I don’t watch TV: one tube is enough.
Nowadays, with LCDs widespread all around, even though there are not many tubes left I still don’t watch much TV. Yesterday, passing by a television set, I incidentally noticed a commercial advertising of a sore throat relief tablet: its soundtrack used about two seconds of From the morning.
Using such a perfect song as the soundtrack of an advertisement… why was it so important to make us acquainted with their scurvy lives?
