Google describes the private browsing feature of Chrome as something useful
(…) for times when you want to (…) plan surprises like gifts or birthdays
Was this feature conceived to help the average user to hide their e-commerce browsing history? I really don’t think so. Their informal motto is “don’t be evil“: I’d change it to “don’t be either evil or hypocritical”. :-)
